This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I don't know about you, but I all the time without commenting. I believe that unless I have something unique and thoughtful to say, faving something will speak for itself. It also counts for more than a quick "great work" comment. Especially if there are already a bunch of those type of comments on a particular deviation. Exposure for our art is the main reason most of us are here. Promote exposure. If you like it, fave it!
While I support thoughtful and useful critique and even fun and friendly conversations, I also believe that more than enough of our precious dA time is spent responding to mindless two or three word comments. This stamp has been created to be used in the artist comment section of deviations in order to discourage commenting that is not well planned and thought out. If you like it well enough to say it is great or wonderful, it would be nice if you would just fave it instead. If it is all that, share it with your friends and give it the kind of exposure a great and wonderful piece of art deserves.
"Thoughtful critiques are welcome, please do not leave mindless comments."
If you have some kind and gentle comments that are thoughtful and useful for improving an image or an artist's future work, please do give a complete critique that also explains the reasoning behind the thought. Simply saying "I don't like that _____" or "You should do this _____" doesn't mean much if you don't also explain why. Without a reasonable explanation it is just a personal opinion. Unless your comment is self explanatory in a useful way, please provide full information that will actually help an artist improve their work. Otherwise it might be better to keep your opinion private. Maybe not, but please do consider the idea of thoughtful over mindless commenting
If you see these "stamps" in an artists pages, please think twice about your comment.
All dA artists are welcome to use them anywhere at dA without specific permission. Please do not save them from this page, use them outside of deviantART or otherwise break this link of information.
